First things first…this blog discusses romances. Sometimes erotic romances. Probably not the best place for those under 18…thank you!

FYI. I am a writer. This blog is mainly for me to use for updates, contests, ramblings, the occassional personal promo, ramblings and that sort of thing. Anybody and everybody is welcome but be advised that if you come in here to spam my blog with your promo or if you come in just to start slinging crap around, posts will be deleted. I want to keep the blog fun and friendly for readers and authors alike, so no BS is tolerated. No flaming is allowed and no personal attacks.

I do discuss books but I’m not a reviewer. I do contests and give away books by various authors, but I don’t get any compensation from authors or publishers for this. I do it because it’s fun for those who read my blog and because I like to share books that I’ve enjoyed.

As a professional courtesy, I generally don’t discuss books I’ve read unless I enjoyed them. If I claimed to be a reviewer, then this might not be the best tactic, but I am not a reviewer. I’m an author and a reader. Like most readers, I don’t always love everything I read. However, it can get a little dicey when a published author mentions that she didn’t care for a book, even if it’s done in the most polite way imaginable. So if there is a book I’ve read that I didn’t care for, I just don’t mention it. The only books I plan on mentioning are either books that have caught my eye or books that I’ve already read and enjoyed.

The links on the blogs, the authors and books I discuss on the blog, the websites I mention, these are all things that interest me and I pass them along to others. As I mentioned before, I don’t do reviews and I only mention books here that I am looking to buy or have already bought. Authors, please don’t email me and request that I use one of your books in the BOMC. While I do on occasion post contests that other authors are running, or give away books by other authors, those are choices I made and not something another author requested of me.

Please do not forward contests on my blog onto sweepstakes sites or contest sites. I do these contests as a treat for my readers and to hopefully entice potential readers into trying out a new book or two. It’s not a sweepstakes site. Thank you!

If you enter a contest thru my blog, it’s your responsibility to check back and see if you won. If you don’t check back within a reasonable amount of time, your prize may be given to someone else. Also… you can enter every contest. I don’t limit you to winning just one or two. BUT you can only enter EACH contest one time. Do not post under a couple of different IDs.

I reserve the right to modify/change/end contests early as I see fit.  This is particularly likely to happen if I discover my contests on sweepstakes sites.

Due to recurrent attempts by a very few select people, contest entries are limited to one per household. I realize sometimes room mates, family members, etc may both be readers of the blog and I hate to say that only one can enter… but due to the unfair attempts by a certain few to rig contests, I limit it to one entry per household. Sorry that a few bad ones had to mess it up for others.

Suspicious entries might find themselves deleted. WordPress keeps track of IPs so I can check. If I notice somebody from the same IP is entering one contest multiple times, all of those will be deleted and you’ll be blocked from entering future contests on my blog. If that sounds unfair to you, my advice would be don’t cheat. Because I bet the ones who aren’t cheating couldn’t care less. I don’t care for dishonesty. Be fair to fellow bloggers or just don’t enter.

The blog posts from this blog do get imported to a few places, namely my Amazon author page and facebook.  To enter any contests through this blog, people must reply AT the blog.  Thank you!
